BOO!!!

Halloween!!! Its finally time for the scariest fattening holiday of all!!!! Halloween!!! Its Kayley's first actual Halloween and Elvis's too. He had fun and probably got A LOT of attention with all the people around. He liked to wait patiently by the door like a little adult. Kayley really enjoyed herself , too. Although i wasn't with her I past by her and she looked SOOOO happy. I was a devil witch for Halloween. Many people asked me what that is but I have no idea whatsoever!!! Kayley was originally a snow white princess but the weather was not too hot so she ended up being a cute little baby zebra. Ella was also supposed to be a princess but the weather changed it so she became a cute little mouse (not those horrible, nasty kind you find in your house!!!). Micheal j was a punk rocker drummer sort of thing. you cant really name it exactly but you can see his pics and you can name him yourself. And of course we had to have someone at home handing out all the treats because last Halloween we left it out and when we came back it was all gone. We put a lot of candy in it and we usually don't have a lot of people who come trick or treating at our house. So we think that someone came and took all our candies. we dared not do that again so my dad stayed home and handed out the candy.
This year was different from all of the other years of trick or treating. The whole family didn't go together. I went with my friends, Micheal J went with his friend, and my mom went with my aunts, Kayley, Ella, and Elvis. I know that Kayley and Elvis sure had a fun time. As you can see in the pictures shown, Elvis is waiting in front of a door patiently. Isn't that cute!? Originally, Kayley was supposed to be Sn ow White but, like usual Halloween was cold so we had to change her costume quick. Luckily, we had a big bow of dress-up clothes. I got the warmest costume I could see and gave it to her. I think it was cuter that her Snow White costume. :D

Thanksgiving Break at Newport Beach

The kids have a whole week off from school at our San Ramon Unified School district so we took advantage of that and went down to Newport Beach for some R & R and sunshine! We literally just chilled out at the beautiful Marriot Resort. A very fun part of the trip was being able to visit with Tui's old missionary companion Matt Wood and his lovely little family. Of course no southern California trip is complete without eating at Roscoes Chicken and Waffle!!!!

Tui thought it would be funny to have me pose in front of this cute boutique with my namesake:)

I was enjoy so much relaxing I had the kids do the dishes after dinner... My Ompa Lompa Lela worked her magic with the machine!! (Bhet, you're not alone!)

How Kayley Feels About Christmas....

Our sassy baby Kayley is two and 3 months at Christmas this year. She is starting to understanding the meaning of Christmas....presents, lots of presents, Santa and "thrismas tree." Amazingly, she never once tried to open any presents underneath the tree!!! She waited patiently for her turns to open up her gifts, but she opened her gifts with such enthusiasm and sheer delight.

Daddy's 37th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Daddy! You are officially 37 years old! For the dinner feast we had Italian food my dad's favorite. To bad he couldn't cook because he makes awesome spaghetti. Everything else was excellent. i knew my dad really enjoyed this Italian feast. It was the bomb!
Present time! It's probably the best part of your Birthday. Daddy didn't get a lot of things but he got pretty good things coupons, pens,a watch, his favorite kind of soap,C.D,gift card, root beer, etc. After some television we had cake. The actual cake was great but i wasn't a big fan of the frosting. The only person who really liked the frosting was my little sis Kayley.
Overall the Birthday was great and everyone enjoyed it. I'm especially glad my awesome dad enjoyed it! Happy Birthday daddy and you are totally the bomb!!!!!

Elvis, Birthday boy, and I and sleepy...

'08 CHRISTMAS!

The past couple of years we have been away during this time of the year so it was really nice and relaxing to be home for Christmas this year. This is our fourth Christmas without my parents. Each year gets a little bit less sad without them home for the holidays... With all my family there I felt Mom and Dad's love and presence everywhere in our home. In the smile and laughter of each of my siblings I see and feel my parents. I hold close these treasured moments to have my family all together. Mom and dad's most prized gift was to have all of us in front of the mounds of gifts which is nothing without the love we have for one another. I'm also grateful that Souny, my dearest best friend since high school, was able to join us. She and Binh are always a joy to have around my kids and siblings, but I think Binh adores our dog Elvis more than anything:)

Souny is a huge tea drinker so was happy to get a tea set:) Now Kayley's gonna want to come over and play tea with you g/f!

My brother and his girlfriend Phab adores Kayley... wish Talay was here with us too:)

This is what Mom and Dad would see as they are looking down at us.... I hope we make you happy and proud!

Uncle Sak and his nieces and nephew and of course Elvis, the newest addition to the Reagan family!

Happy 40th Birthday To My Sister Noi!

Kayley and Ella fight for Noi's attention!

Singharath Siblings! Me, Noe, Noi and Vonkey

Noi with the love of her life~Ella! She may not emotionally show how much she truly loves Ella, but everything she does is for Ella's future.

My sister Noi celebrated four decades of life August 15. I can't believe she's that old, and she acts older than her age sometimes. She is everything that Noe and I aren't, but we love her despite it all:) For her birthday, I wanted to give her something that is more precious than money or anything... I wanted to show her how much I love her and enjoy her so I took her and Ella to Southern CA for the weekend. We had a fun and memorable time at Universal Studio and at Huntington beach. She was actually very relaxed and enjoying herself a lot and that's something Noi has a hard time doing. She acts like the whole world is weighing her down and I just want her to live a little and enjoy herself more. Since we've lost our parents 3 1/2 years ago, Noi has really stepped up to the plate to fill in the void of not having our mom. She's been making us lots of yummy traditional Lao food that mom used to make for us. She's been so big hearted with our family in Laos and has been so wonderful at pooling our resources together to help any family members in crisis. She has truly been shining as the bigger sister to us. Despite her lack of emotions for us, I know deep down she has a big loving heart for us and only wishes the best for each of us. I know that I'm also not the best at showing her how much I love and appreciate all that she does and means to me and my family. I have always been the glue that have bounded my Singharath family together, and I have noticed that my sister Noi has been the super glue that cares and is keeping us together in love, honor and respect for our mom and dad. I love her for that and for all that she is to us...
Happy Birthday Noi and I hope we continue to celebrate and create more special memories in our family.

Tis Better Late Than Forgotten...Happy Birthday Martha!

Distance and miles may keep Martha and I far from each other, yet our unconditional friendship keeps us close to one another. I became friends with Martha during our last year at BYU when we were both pregnant with our boys. We hit it off right away because of our passion for food while pregnant. The funny thing is that I had met Martha a couple of years back (but she doesn't remember our meeting) but I did not hit it off with her so great back than. I think we are so similar with our personalities that it was either a hit or miss and luckily for us the second time around was a huge hit! After college we both moved to the VA at the same time and became really close during those 3 years Micheal was in law school. She became my closest friend and family and we have shared so much great joy. As fate would have it, when we moved to CA she also relocated her family to the west coast (LV, but close enough)
It's so interesting how we get along so perfectly despite our strong willed similar personalities. We butt heads with our husbands but never with each other. I love her heart~ it is pure and true. She is a woman driven by her desire to please and serve those around her. Her zest for life and living is evident in her spontaneity. She is thankful for all that life has to offer her and takes everything in her life in strides. She sometimes takes on more than she can handle because her heart is bigger than her capabilities. She loves to dance to life's beat. She is crazy fun! What a minute! Am I talking about Martha or ME? I love ya girl! Your unconditional love and acceptance of me is forever appreciated! I'm thankful for your friendship in this lifetime and the next lifetime to come... Happy Late Birthday Martha! I can't wait to be in Vegas to celebrate with you and all of our friends.

Martha and I had the greatest blessing to travel to Laos together in April of this year. We were so overjoyed to run into the Latter-Day Saints missionaries at the hotel we were staying at.

Big Brother Mouse Gang...Martha was so caring and loving with the children at the school we sponsored.
